Success in the Eyes of Our Parents

  • Kate with "Bee Kind" painted rock

"Before KaiPod we struggled to find an environment where Kate could learn and thrive. After 3 failed school attempts, we realized that much of the problem was the requirement to be on campus 7 hours per day, 5 days per week. That's when we heard about KaiPod. By working closely with her learning coach, Kate went from feeling lonely and insecure to happy and confident within the first few months. She has made some incredibly special friendships while having the opportunity to provide mentorship to the younger kids."

“I have seen tremendous growth in Amir’s attitude and how he approaches learning. KaiPod has changed how we learn and has certainly matured Amir in ways that allow him to think beyond his limits. I know that Amir felt like he belonged here, and that allowed him to feel secure and excited to learn and anticipate the new adventure that awaits the next day at KaiPod.”

“My son loves the flexibility that comes with online schooling. He is able to advance at his pace and focus on subjects that he loves. The only issue is missing social skills. Thanks to the amazing Coach, my son has developed his soft skills and he is able to make friends easily at any event. We are truly grateful that we found this unique model of learning for our family.”

  • Kadin and a friend participating in an enrichment at the KaiPod learning pod in Gilbert

“After 9th grade Kadin's current school was no longer a good fit for him. He was looking for more social interactions and academic challenges. This year has been such an amazing year of growth and development due to KaiPod. Kadin has said many time that he's not only more productive at "The Pod", but that it's the first time he felt he belonged. He is excited for the upcoming year. Thank you for supporting my child in his educational, social, and emotional journey.”

Learning Pods Success Stories:
Why Our Students Love Coming to KaiPod

Learning pod success story from student Noah playing a card game

Noah, 12 about his KaiPod learning pod in Winter Garden, FL

“I used to go to a public school, but I had trouble with reading and writing, and it was hard to focus. I liked learning from home during the pandemic and having my parents be more involved, but it was tough for them to help me with school and my online classes all the time.

I started at a KaiPod learning pod this year, and it’s so much more fun than regular school! I like spending time with my friends and having space between academics to have fun. I love my coaches. They are the best! They help me when I get stuck, and we get to choose what I focus on each week. I love playing games, going to the park, and visiting the library with my friends. I like that I can do my school work and still have fun on the same day.”

Learning pod student Kylee doing an art enrichment

Kylee, 16 about her experience at KaiPod learning in Nashua, NH

“To me, a community should be somewhere where I feel safe, cared for, and loved. Unfortunately, when I attended public school, that wasn’t the case; I was constantly bullied and made fun of.

When I started attending the Nashua learning pod, everything changed for me. I was automatically welcomed with open arms by all of my fellow students here at KaiPod, who treated me with such kindness and gentleness. It was confusing for me at first, but then I realized this is how it should be.

My learning coaches always assure me that I can do my work, and they push me to the best of my abilities. My Coaches have not only helped with academics, but they also helped me realize that even when things get hard, I can do anything that I put my mind to with enough perseverance. Coming to KaiPod not only changed my perspective on how a true learning environment should be but how all students should be treated with love and kindness.”

Learning pod student Kate with her KaiPod friends

Kate, 16 about her KaiPod learning pod in Glendale, AZ

“I love my KaiPod learning pod because there is no bullying, and I finally have a friend group with whom I can be silly!

Before I found KaiPod, I attended three different schools and never felt I fit in. I struggled to connect with my teachers and classmates, which made me feel lonely.

Then, we discovered KaiPod, and everything changed! Now, I can learn at my own pace and finally have a friend group I can be silly with. There's no bullying here; I feel happy and more confident. My learning coach is always there to help me, and I even get to help the younger kids.

KaiPod is the best because it lets me be myself and grow. I'm so grateful we found this awesome place where I can do my online school work and fit in.”
