Flexible Curriculum Options

At KaiPod, we support families and students with your preferred curriculum of choice. Whether you already have a homeschool curriculum or an online program that works well for your child, we'll provide the support they need at the pod! If you are transitioning from a traditional public or private school, we’ll work with you to create a customized education plan.

For most students, this includes a self-paced curriculum so your child can learn at their own pace, moving faster or slower based on their own understanding. These options may include accredited online schools, workbook-based homeschool programs, or something even more customized.

We also offer three optional academic programs at no cost — Zearn (math for grades 3-8), Lexia (literacy for grades K-12), and Map Growth Assessments. Watch the video below to learn more!

  • Open Door Policy
At KaiPod Learning, we recognize that all students are unique and learn in different ways. Thus, we are committed to giving students the flexibility they need to maximize their learning experience. For this reason, KaiPod Learning operates on an “open door” basis. Each student may come as frequently or infrequently as they wish based on their enrolled plan. Students may come for a whole day, a partial day, or for various brief intervals throughout the course of a single day. It’s your choice. We are here to offer support when and if your student needs it.

  • Standard Enrollment Days
The standard enrollment days for our part-time enrollment plans are listed below. We are able to accommodate alternate days based on availability!

    • 2 Day Plan: Tuesday and Thursday

    • 3 Day Plan: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

    • 4 Day Plan: Monday through Thursday

  • One Semester Commitment
All KaiPod Learning enrollment plans are based on the local 36-week calendar and require a one-semester (five-month) commitment. If enrolling mid-year, there is a five-month commitment. After the one-semester or five-month commitment, enrollments may be cancelled with 30 days written notice.

  • One Month Happiness Guarantee
We want to ensure that we’re a good fit for your family! KaiPod Learning offers a one-month happiness guarantee. This 30-day trial period offers the opportunity for each family to determine if KaiPod Learning is the best fit for them. It also allows our team the opportunity to evaluate and ensure that we have the resources needed to meet the needs of each student we welcome into our pods. Families who provide written notice of program termination within thirty (30) days of initial enrollment are waived from their one-semester commitment. Please note that the first payment of the chosen payment plan is due in full and is nonrefundable. After the initial 30 days or one-month happiness guarantee period, families are obligated to the one-semester commitment and remaining months of tuition.

  • Step Up for Student Scholarships

  • Payment Plans
All payment plans are based on a 180-day academic year calendar. KaiPod Learning is thrilled to offer discounts on semester and annual payment plans. Please review your payment plan options below:

    • 10 PAYMENTS PLAN
The 10 payments plan divides the annual tuition into 10 equal installments. Step Up for Students families must reserve the funds (see this tutorial video) in the EMA marketplace or before the 1st of each month, August through May. At the end of each month, KaiPod Learning will process the reserved funds (like this) to ensure that the exact invoice amount matches the funds deducted from the account. Please note that funds must be reserved based on the enrollment plan. Any pro-rated start date discounts or sibling discounts will be deducted once KaiPod Learning processes the reserved funds.

    • 2 PAYMENTS PLAN (5% Discount)

The two payments plan divides the annual tuition (minus a 5% discount) into 2 equal installments due on August 1st and January 1st. Please note that no refunds of paid tuition are provided if a family downgrades their plan or withdraws from KaiPod Learning prior to the end of the semester. For families using a Step Up for Students Scholarship, please note that to receive a 5% discount, the 2 payments plan must be paid by personal ACH (electronic funds transfer) and submitted to SUFS EMA for reimbursement.

    • 1 PAYMENT PLAN (10% Discount)

The one payment plan requires payment of the annual tuition (minus a 10% discount) in one payment on August 1st. Please note that no refunds of paid tuition are provided if a family downgrades their plan or withdraws from KaiPod Learning prior to the end of the academic year. For families using a Step Up for Students Scholarship, please note that to receive a 10% discount, the 1 payment plan must be paid by personal ACH (electronic funds transfer) and submitted to SUFS EMA for reimbursement.

  • Sibling Discounts
KaiPod Learning offers sibling discounts! Please email hello@kaipodlearning.com for more information.

Step Up for Students Scholarships

KaiPod Learning is an approved Step Up scholarship provider.

Learn more about the following Step Up scholarships available to all Florida families:

  • We accept the following Step Up scholarships:

If you currently have the FTC or FES-EO scholarship for private school, you must switch to PEP.

  • KaiPod is considered a homeschool service provider for the purposes of the scholarship, not a private school. As such, KaiPod Learning cannot direct bill the student's account. Instead, families must use the SUFS EMA to reserve funds.

If you are utilizing the UA scholarship with KaiPod, you will need to be registered as a homeschool student with your school district. If you are utilizing the PEP scholarship, this is not required.

  • Families can request KaiPod services through the marketplace in their Step Up account, with monthly payments deducted from your scholarship account.

Note: Scholarship families will select the “Part-Time Tutoring” service.

  • Families can request KaiPod services through the Step Up EMA marketplace, with monthly payments deducted from your scholarship account.

Please note that KaiPod Learning is unable to direct bill the student's account using the ID number. Instead, families must use the SUFS EMA to reserve funds.

  • When you request KaiPod services in the marketplace, you can add one or more months to set aside funds for KaiPod. We ask families to complete this process by the 1st of each month once funds are available in your account. (Step Up releases scholarship funds on a quarterly basis.) At the end of the month, KaiPod will process the reserved funds based on your enrollment plan.

  • Once you have submitted your Step Up application, we encourage you to enroll right away to save your spot and choose your preferred days! The KaiPod enrollment team will need a screenshot of your My Applications tab in your EMA portal to show that your application has been submitted and you are awaiting approval or funding. If for any reason your scholarship application is not approved by Step Up, we are able to cancel your enrollment.

  • To receive a discount for 1 payment (10%) or 2 payment (5%) plans, payments must be made by personal ACH and invoices submitted to Step Up for Students through the reimbursement page in their EMA account. Please note that no refunds or credit are provided for downgrades or withdrawal prior to end of the payment period.

  • While Step Up gives priority to families based on income or renewal status, all Florida families are eligible. The program is expected to grow by 40,000 families annually. For the PEP scholarship, students are able to submit their MAP testing results (available through KaiPod) at the end of the year to demonstrate their learning.
